How to connect

1. Get a 3.3.5a client

   You need World of Warcraft 3.3.5a, build 12340 — the last Wrath of the Lich King patch. Anything newer will not connect.

   Bring your own copy.

2. Point it at this realm

   Open Data/enUS/realmlist.wtf in the game folder (the folder is named after your client language — deDE, enGB …) and replace everything in it with this one line:

   set realmlist wow.iltis.io copy

   Start the game with Wow.exe, not with the launcher — the launcher restores the official realmlist before it starts the game.

3. Create an account

   Accounts are made below. The account name and password you pick here are what you type into the login screen — the game does not care about upper or lower case.

Download the client

Ready to play: realm address already set, nothing to configure. You need the invite code — the same one as for the account.

Roughly an hour on a normal connection — it is served from a home line, so please do not start three at once. The archive resumes if it breaks off.

Create an account

You need the invite code. Ask whoever sent you here.

Change your password

You need your current password — there is no reset by mail, this realm does not know your address.

Log out of the game first. The change also drops the session the server has cached for you, so a client that is still connected will be asked to log in again.
